Well here we are … finally ready with my blog.
Everyone is saying the first post needs to be this massive thing, that goes viral immediately, but to be honest with you, I think it should give you some information about the what, who and why of this blog.
Let’s start with the “what”. On this blog you are going to find healthy (and sometimes not so healthy) recipes without any dairy in them.
In addition to the of course super tasty recipes you will also find some nutritional facts about the Vitamins and Minerals that Dairy contains and how you get them in your body without the actual Dairy.
Next in line we have the “who”. Well in this case, the who would be me, Jess. I grew up in Germany, finished school and my apprenticeship there and then moved to England, which should have been only for a year, but here we are two and a half years later and still in England!
My mum is lactose intolerant, so that was the first time I realized that not everyone can enjoy the taste of food with dairy. Now I live together with my partner who has a real allergy against dairy, so when I cook or bake I need to find tasty workarounds.
Last but not least, we have the “why”.
Some of you might be wondering, that it all sounds nice, but why would she create a blog about this? I have an easy answer for you: I want to make the life of people who can’t enjoy dairy a lot easier with providing them with all the information I gathered over time.
But this is enough for today, let’s get this party started!!!
